We believe that our community is stronger when we work together to improve the lives of those most impacted by substance abuse.

We believe that no one should feel ashamed or embarrassed to seek out treatment for addiction, trauma, or any other medical condition.

We strive to create a community that is resilient and resistant to the impacts of substance abuse.

We strive to promote recovery by providing a variety of locally based resources to individuals and families.

Our vision is to create a community that is trauma informed, engaged, and actively working to reduce the stigma associated with addiction, trauma, substance abuse and behavioral health conditions by providing education related to prevention, treatment and recovery.

Your donation to the Nelson Community Wellness Alliance provides:

• Over 500 local youth with education about mental health and substance abuse prevention.
• Resources and referral to mental health services and recovery supports to anyone in the community.
• Continuing education and information for certified professionals working or living in Nelson.
• Development of community based programs such as a drug court and community hub.
